If the go nuclear tomorrow---what is your opinion on what the Dem's should
do?
I think they should all walk out and go home--if the repugs want to trample on our forefathers graves--I don't think we should stick around to be a witness.
Besides, by doing this, they are saying, in essence, that we don't matter. Time to pick it up and go home until this country is ready to stop these bullies.

1. No
Leaving would be stupid. Best to have Byrd there to make them run away from the Bible again.

3. I agree, keep the fight going on the Senate floor, protest on the...
....senate steps, publicly call for a national protest against the republican senators, anything to draw maximum national and international attention to the mentally deranged republican fringe.

2. I'd love to see the Senate..
grind to a halt. Stop everything, barring emergency. Motion after motion after motion. Quorum calls. Infinite numbers of amendments to be brought-up. Filibusters on all legislation.

The American people are on our side, and we've appeared more than sane with our multiple offers of compromise. Make 'nuclear' live-up to its name.

4. New-q-lur Option
Frist and the republicans have openly declared war on the checks and balances which prevent the "tyranny of the majority", and the democrats are going to have to tap every last bit of ingenuity to maneuver around this blatant power-grab.

There's no telling what the implications of democrats withdrawing from, and effectively halting, activity in the Senate.

Republicans bellow forth with faux-patriotic rhetoric about the greatness of democracy, yet every move they make is one towards undermining it, or rigging the system to favor their own interests.

By the time the metaphorical nation-wide hypnosis has worn off, these criminals and profiteers will have escaped with the fruits of our well-being in their hands.

Get In These Important Senators' Back Yards!

The final showdown over the filibuster is upon us. Together, PFAW Foundation with its members and activists has already helped persuade three principled Republican senators to stand up to the Right and support the filibuster. We need to help persuade at least three more Senators in just the next few days and these ads are a great way to do it.

PFAW Foundation’s new ads call on common-sense senators in Maine, Pennsylvania and Alaska to do what is right and stand up to Frist and the fringe of the Republican Party.
