16. Well it was kinda short ......
first Tweety ..interviewed Senator what's is name on the charges against Galloway, then Galloway came on and Tweety asked him to respond, which he did firmly. The Senator was vague with his claims, Galloway stated to come up with the proof, and brought up the illegal war again.

13. Okay....
Tweety was trying to do his usual "talk over anything you don't want to hear" routine and Galloway just went right on over him. Galloway said that he never took one thin dime from Iraq. Treety tried to make it guilt by association by asking Galloway if the charity (Galloway corrected that it was a political party) actually benefited from the illegal money....Galloway said that they had made it clear from the beginning who their donors were but never asked the owners where the money came from.....

He told Tweety that the "guilt by association" thing was something that Joe McCarthy would be proud of......

He said that Norm Coleman couldn't answer the "show me the money" question earlier today....

This guy was prepared and he was on fire..

18. A very interesting start to George Galloway's statement...
"Senator, I am not now, nor have I ever been, an oil trader."

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x3674986

recalling Joe McCarthy's "Are you now or have you ever been" line of questioning.

27. There's your answer
He thought probably he was prepared and was shocked and couldn't use any of the rightwing talking points so he couldn't go on or he'd not be able to control the segment.

11. I dunno...I turned on t he "Tweet" first time in a year...lasted 15 Minute
& and had to "click off" and return to Internet for my news. I'm glad he had Galloway on "eventually" but after he ignored what Vandenheuval said...I wondered why I tuned back in after over a year. I guess I still had hope that Tweety would take his "muzzle off."

I WAS WRONG!
:-(

12. Taking nothing away from Galloway's performance
but that's kinda par for the political discourse where he's from ...... not too many who are afraid to speak their minds. The fact that he's a Scot only amplifies it. The Scots have long had to stand taller and stronger than their neigbors to the south.

He's a guy I'd actually like to have a beer with!

28. Galloway says the whole "oil for food" debacle is just a diversion to get
our focus away from the real disaster the U.S. has created in Iraq.

Galloway won't be doing to many more interviews because he tells the truth.

Coleman had this goofy grin on his face like someone thinking to himself "have I been fucked in the ass just now?"
