Has CNN canceled Paula Zahn Now?

This week Anderson Cooper's show has been 2 hours - taking over her slot. And it seems she is doing the voice-over for extended in-depth stories on his show. Does anybody know what's up? Personally - I like it this way much better. I can't stand looking at Zahn - he jaw always seems clenched. Listening to her doesn't bother me as much.

But CNN did this big promo thing for her show about a month or so ago....and they had paid for full page ads in many major publications....and a lot of promo on their own channels.

Paula appears safe for now....due to Popepalooza and other misadventures of Newsdom.

So she appears safe for now....too bad!

In the article they said "Jon Klein, the CNN chief installed last December, revamps the network. Klein wants more in-depth reporting and what he calls better storytelling. That has included changes to the network’s prime time lineup. Aaron Brown’s “News Night” now favors a focus on one big story while Zahn’s show has concentrated on more personal stories.

This week Zahn has been doing in-depth "personal" stories for Anderson Cooper.
