Remember Mike Farrell?
He had a successful series, Providence, and they yanked it off in the middle of the season because he was a progressive activist. They gave his co-star Melina Kanararedes a new job, but not Mike.

He has a blog! He is still an activist! I just wanted everyone to appreciate his humanity and his courage.

Thank you, Mike. And I really miss the show. :-(

It's disappointing the Nazis don't see it.

But then again, Nazi's rarely see anything but creating war, hatred and division.

8. He came to my campus to speak on the death penalty
Edited on Fri May-20-05 03:31 AM by U4ikLefty
about a month or two ago.

He had to deal with some angry protesters, but handled it with tact & empathy. I was able to shake hands and thank him for his time. He seems like a very intelligent & gracious fellow.

the Santa Monica Library basement. lol

It was for disabled kids and Doug did a short set along with some other folks. It wasn't publicized and it was just for the kids, not for print or for the cameras.

Mike is awesome.

11. Dating myself though this is
I had such a crush on BJ in Mash when I was in high school. Guess I could recognize a good liberal even then. ;-)

Thanks for the link to the blog. Glad to see he hasn't been "quieted".

13. He was awesome in the run-up to war
He held his own tremendously on Fox News with all of those evil men speaking their lies over his voice. Good man who truly walks the walk.
