Really dismissive juvenile personal attacks because they know youre right. Take solace in that. How would these wingers actually debate this? They cant so they go flip mode and turn into 13 yr olds .

2. I know what you mean...

...I often go to this site: http://auburn.nu/board/ to remind myself of how vile some of my countrymen are and how steep the road really is.

On that board, you'll find people openly screaming about how diversity and minorities are ruining the country and how..oh, hell, you know as it looks like much of the same was on the board you linked.

But, they don't think they are bigoted because they have no problem when their team's star tailback is black. Just don't let him come home with their daughter.

But I like how the folks you're talking with all "know" what Bush was thinking, that he was totally ignorant that what he was saying wasn't true, that it's all someone else's fault for anything going wrong now in Iraq, and that every dead body created in Iraq has to be another terrorist. Because, I guess, the alternative is just too awful to contemplate, so these statements become articles of faith.

6. Sorry to read that

I know two people who just graduated from UGA (GA Southern grad myself) and they say it's getting worse and worse there.

I mean really.........Sonny Perdue is an alumni. Ewwww.......

7. Is this an alumni site or a UGA fan site?

I'm a UGA graduate. My experience has been that many UGA sports fans never went to college and some did not even graduate from high school. That said, I would point out that most well-educated, articulate, liberal UGA sports fans probably don't post on that website. There are a huge number of W stickers here in the Athens, GA area. Many of these conservative "fans" and UGA alums refuse to live in Athens because their kids might have to go to school with blacks and other minorities.
