and you explained this to me before, why are those on DU so against LaRouche? Guess I am a little dense.

Guess I'm on their call list, not sure why or how. The person who contacted me sounded just like a Dem and had the same interests, that is, get rid of shrub. Against the same things we are, and want shrub out. The person from the LaRouche said everything to me that is on DU.

I've read their material, and I don't disagree with all of it. they make some very valid points.

But then, I read a magazine that someone left at the laundry, thinking "Wow! This stuff is GREAT!" Then it started going down an anti-UN tangent, and when I checked the small print in the masthead...Yep, The John Birch Society...The point being, that you can usually find SOMETHING to agree with almost ANYONE about. That saw about a busted clock being right twice a day comes to mind...

See, I don't "hate" George Dumbya so much that I would join ANYONE who says "I am the Anti-Bush". There's a lot more involved than that.

I think a Green, a Democrat, and a Naderite would stop fighting long enough to jump a Larouchie if one walked into the room...

Now, has LaRouche been fairly represented in the media and here at DU? I don't think so. I do get a "cult like" feel from his organization, but that is a purely subjective impression which I am happy to own as my own.

Like you, I would like to see some concrete evidence, current evidence, verified evidence, that LaRouche is a racist. That he was imprisoned for a crime in and of itself does not rule him out as someone to take seriously in my book. Hey, Martha Stewart is a "fellon," too, but she's still OK.
