Bush, Rove, Cheney, or Frist? Sometimes I think it's Bush, other times I think Frist. Damn... need to get that fence pole outa my ass.

11. No, one more Pope to go
according to St. Machaly. "Peter the Roman" may be in the College of Cardinals as we speak.

3. I'm certain it is Cheney.
Frist and Cheney go together in the same bed, and Bush was deceived by these morons back when he was "saved" by their prophetic visions.

Bush has always been too naive to be a Hitler.

10. Or to be more accurate a corporate cult....
Edited on Tue May-24-05 07:28 PM by LightningFlash
One Cheney Rove and the whole collective belong to.

Think about it, Bush is not smart enough or even special enough to force the mainstream media to not report on soldier deaths. He just can't even grasp that!

He thinks he is just doing his job, giving the good people what they want by way of fraud and breaking the rules. He just can not fully grasp the concepts!

But on the other hand of it all, the cult in charge is laughing and is completely insane as well as evil. They are in mass rage sweeping the whole area, singling out liberals and forcing legislation for their agenda as well as striking down anyone in their way.

Cheney and his prophetic visions probably sees the disintegration of the New Deal as a great boost for god and for his pocketbook....He's so brilliantly content, that in firm belief he sees the other lame ducks he has used going to the wayside. Cheney doesn't make news, he INVENTS it and gladly forces the news not to report soldier's deaths. He spins everything to follow the agenda of God. He with the help of Karl, now could care less who is selected in power. No matter what, thy will shall be done in the name of GOD. His wife believes in the unshattering belief of one nation UNITED UNDER GOD.

6. George (6) Walker (6) BushJr (6)
And yes, I read about that "616" stuff a few weeks ago, but that could have been planted by Bush trying to throw suspicion off himself.

Since the Antichrist is also referred to as "the Beast" then it's fair to speculate whether the Antichrist is really just one man (in this case an exeedingly stupid man) or whether it is the entire neocon/PNAC fascist movement which surrounds him.

In either case, the Dominionism perversion of Christianity would obviously be the False Prophet.

20. I know it well
That site was started as a parody back in 1999 (the guy had a similar site which said David Hasselhoff was the Antichrist) but as he did more research into things - and especially as Bush/PNAC started to enact their agenda, the page took on a more serious tone. I believe the guy is even writing a book now about Junior being the Antichrist.

. . . Well, almost certain, that it's fundamentalist Christianity. Makes sense even from a biblical perspective.

8. The Roman emperor Nero.
The Revelation of John of Patmos was an allegory of the early struggles of nascent Christianity against Roman oppression and a hopeful vision of Christianity's eventual triumph; "Neron Caesar", transposed into the Hebrew alphabet (in which every character has a numeric value) = 666.

12. I think it's Cheney. He clearly is running the country and
according to those knowledgable about heart disease, he should've been dead sometime ago. Also, why is he trying to run for President in 2008? Wouldn't this make it his third term? This is a diabolical way to get around the two term limits rule.

I say impeach the whole lot of them NOW!

21. There Are Many Anti-Christs...
Edited on Tue May-24-05 07:49 PM by thecai
...many false christs, false prophets, showing signs and wonders to deceive the very elect, if possible, (including having the answer to peace and surviving a deadly headwound)... all leading up to worshipping the Beast, in Revelations. So my answer would be all of the above.
Rev.13 describes the possibility of a clone, (Hitler, possibly?)...
Just my thoughts. ;-)

22. All organized religion
Specifically, the Catholic Church-but they just got there first and where the best at taking the savior and polluting almost everything he was about. All almost all "Christian" churches-which I think mostly are the antithesis of Christ's message which was love not control, not dogma and most specifically not one faith, one way,or a ticket to hell. Christ was the anti-God, so the big G that sends you to hell must be the anti-Christ. So really, God is the anti-Christ.

Don't worry, all those people that thought like me have already been murdered and Gnosticism is just a nice side note in history.

24. None of the above
Try Grover Norquist, for one. It has to be someone behind the scenes, with a steady input into the righteous right. A powerbroker--someone who can influence things, but doesn't have to be known to the general public. Someone "behind the curtain" who is sure of continued success and subterfuge.

A year ago, we might have had DeLay on that list; a year before that, Trent Lott. None of these people is in such a position that their influence can endure. Each one of them is only a transient player through the party. It has to be someone outside of the inner sphere. It has to be someone who, regardless of all other factors, is not in a flux position.

It is also someone who is likely a member of PNAC, or some other such group, with an active interest in the goings on in the "Holy Land."

Who the "anti-christ" is is irrelevant except to the fundies and evangelicals. For the majority of us, our interest is only in how he/she is controlling the power base. We can see most of the outward activity, but what we see is only the tip of the iceberg--more covert operations are going on than we will ever be aware of.

25. Other: Rush Limbaugh
I mean, come on, who better to be the anti-christ than a fat loudmouth who airs hate speech against "liberals" on the radio three hours a day?
