Our mad rush into the Middle East and our tortures of innocents reminds
me of the 60's when white policemen would go into black ghetteos and abuse and kill black people with impunity, and many politicians vow eternal support for these racist cops. Fortunately those days are past at home. What is happening in the Middle East is the same attitude transplanted on a wider canvas and the blowback promises to be the same. When all our dictators are toppled and we can no longer venture into any of the 'neighborhoods' without huge military escorts, we are going to realize that the price of arrogance is going to be our isolation and the contempt we see in the eyes of the innocents.

The Gooks have been replaced by the Ragheads. 30+ years and we haven't learned a good goddamn thing!

My Lai = Fallujah

2. Each encounter we have had with people of other lands winds up
with the same outcome. Either we are congenitally incapable of treating other people with respect or we are the most predatory and arrogant boors to visit our planet. Take your pick.

5. I wonder how long it will be until we see
Iraqi "ear necklaces" on U.S. soldiers? Remember how U.S. soldiers in Nam use to cut off the ears of the "Gooks" and wore them around their necks? The soldier with the most ears, was the winner.

3. i dont think they are days past in the u.s.
i think they still live on and will continue to progress in aggressiveness and out of controll by our police here in this nation.

i feel we will get a taste of abuse of power over individuals here in u.s. that we are committing on others across the world
