About Warm Woolies
Warm Woolies is a non-profit organization whose volunteers knit warm clothing for poverty-stricken children who would otherwise suffer from cold. Our mission is to provide the very neediest children with wool vests, hats, mittens, and slippers.

In 2005, we're knitting for children living in orphanages in Russia, Kazakhstan, and China, and on tribal reservations in South Dakota. Our goal for 2005 is to knit 1,500 pieces of warm wool clothing for these children!

Warm Woolies supplies yarn, patterns, and needles to knitters throughout the Denver area. Warm Woolies volunteers teach beginning and intermediate skills and provide plenty of encouragement.

We welcome volunteer knitters of all skill levels.
