New ARG Poll: Bush approval at 45% among registered voters

New ARG Poll: Bush approval at 45% among registered voters
A new American Research poll out today indicates that among registered voters Bush has a 45% approval rating and 51% disapproval. Among All Americans he has a 47-48 percent approval rating.

40% of Americans rate the national economy as very good or good while 59% rate the national economy as bad, very bad, or terrible.

When asked if angry, worried, confused, hopeful, or happy best describes how they feel about GW Bush as president, 44% say angry or worried and 42% say hopeful or happy.

16. i think his core support is around 32%
i don't see him falling below that. We may be getting under 40% though.

10. Bush's poll numbers sucked pre 9/11
Seriously, he was right at 50, and he was widely
viewed as having no mandate and crusing to defeat
in 2002 midterms following Jefford's defection.

The media is culpable in that it chose to keep
the patriotic meme going for two whole years, but
I do think that Americans did support Bush in a
panic, much as they did in patriotic fervor in
the Spanish-American War of 1898.

9. Hooking up with the in-laws this weekend.
My partner's parents are major republicans and we are all meeting up in Las Vegas this weekend. Normally the subject of politics is avoided. You can BET it will be avoied even more!

I love his parents, they are coming around and are becoming more open and excepting towards me so I'll just keep my giggles about W's free fall to myself.

15. OMG I don't know ,,it's been so long since the polls
represented me in the majority ...

I like the ways it feels ...I remember being
