Supply Side Economics in action.

The appropriately named economist or con man,Arthur Laffer, depending on your POV,
said that if you cut taxes, your revenues will go out of sight because the rich, not knowing what to do with all that money, will go on a mad shopping spree of investment unleashing a tsunami of jobs.

After Bush cut taxes for the rich, the score card has been a sea of red ink and we are in a hole to the tune of several hundred billion dollars.

On the job front, this mornings news brings huge cutbacks at GM, Ford, Alcoa and others.

There is one area of the economy that is booming. Military recruiters are going out of their way to nab our youngsters.

One way or another we have achieved the growth Bush promised us.

1. The "greatest" achievement of today's Repuke party
has been to convince the common man that giving more of his money to the rich will make things better for him. The simple truth is that you can have all the money in the world to invest in something, but if people don't have jobs or don't have enough money to BUY what you're selling, you're fucked.

Demand-side economics is where it's at.
