2. It's actually the point of crooksandliars.com
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2005/06/23.html

Today, the Republican National Committee released an ad called "Wild Thing." And guess what? It features Dick Durbin's remarks about detainee treatment at Guantanamo Bay. The same words that are putting our troops in greater danger, and yet the RNC is emailing the ad to "15 million grassroots supporters" and posting it at GOP.com, where terrorists, Al Jazeera producers, and the liberal saboteurs who want to undermine this great country of ours and put our troops at risk have access to it! Is it time to put Ken Mehlman on the Noodles Jefferson diet?

If Democrats wanted to harm the troops
They would have sent them into a war based on lies without the necessary gear to protect them.

6. And that is why this whole thing is so damned sad and why
parents and soldiers should be furious. They are playing politics with these kids' lives. :grr:

5. and do they really believe that WE will believe that
the insurgents are watching CSPAN for encouragement? And that via the CSPAN watching and hearin Durbin's words that the troops are in MORE danger than they are from ...say... not sending enough equipment - not sending enough flap jackets - not sending enough plated armor - then prosecuting soldiers on the ground for "cannibalizing" unusable trucks to get materials to try to do "homemade" armor on their vehicles?

Their contempt for the American people, and for the men and women serving in the military is awful.
