1. I feel it and see it, too.
What I'm also noticing are Dems and other liberals/progressives getting pretty damn vocal around here. No longer whispering. Just saying stuff outright, who cares what anyone thinks?

That's nice to see and hear. And the people doing that aren't ALL Dems, either.

5. Yes and they are getting quiet
Here is GOP Land (Texas). People don't like to talk politics anymore. They grumble if you mention China, defecit spending, gas prices, etc. Iraq & War are never used in the same sentence. If it gets brought up it is the 'war on terror'. That's why the GOP leaders are invoking 9/11 so much. They are trying to reinforce the myth about sadaam/al queda. Their inital spin has lost is speed and has to be kick started again.

If you really want to make 'em mad ask "did you got what you voted for yet?" Then point out, Why not, the Repubs control everything?" I don't buy that we have to have perfect solutions to point out the GOP's incompetency.

3. Here in laid-back L.A., there are going to be weekly rallies
re DSM, anti-war, etc. (probably now anti-Rove as well) -- I'm pleasantly surprised (but have to wait and see what the turnout is this weekend).

4. And, it doesn't seem so far out to be talking about impeachment,
prosecution by an int'l tribunal, or even indictment of the Bush team by a federal Grand Jury anymore.

Wow. There has been a big change!

10. And about damn time too!
I'm in the deep rural south and it's even beginning to show here a bit also. Less RW letters in the (weekly) local paper, people averting their eyes when I wear my democrats are sexy t-shirt, and more dems saying way-to-go when I wear my democrats are sexy t-shirt! Wednesday, I was leaving Wally World and the little old lady at the exit doors stopped me and said "let me see your shirt" then she read it, grabbed me by both shoulders and squeezed, saying "you tell'em honey!". I replied that we could come out of the closet now, everyone was realizing they had lied to us.
And today, after Scotty McC's press briefing, I called the WH and left a message telling him off! Don't ask me what he said, I can't remember because my head was exploding off my neck and shoulders, but it was worse than Rover's comments the other day. I've never called them before, just screamed at the TV, but I'm past the point of just taking it.

14. Good For You!
Superb post! While I haven't worn the "Dems Are Sexy" shirts, I've been in much the same situation. My response? I joined PDA as a founding sustainer. I'm not asking for your money but at least check out their initiation video:
