Is Rove the "fallguy" behind the Plame leak and is he the one who
Edited on Sun Jul-17-05 01:09 AM by Blue_Roses
the true "leakers" are laughing at now? I have been out of town this whole week and I have not had access to DU so I have been listening to Hardball and any news scoop I could get--knowing that this is not the truth but it does allow me to see how the the story is being twisted. From what I've heard, Rove is the "patsy" and he doesn't even realize it.Guess it couldn't happen to a nicer guy:eyes: but this does bring back into question the Iraq War and the bullshit Cheney and a few others tried to sell us in order to get their war on.

I just hope this prosecutor can read between the lines and it sounds like he is...

Rove is a pawn...and as big as his ego is, to hear this he might explode.

1. This is just an example of too much enthusiasm with nowhere to go
Supply exceeding demand and being wasted on wild theories.

I guess it has to happen on a message board at times like this.

Yep, this is about so much more than a leak. It's treason at the highest levels.

3. Rove is no pawn. If the investigation turns up Cheney and Shrub, he
might throw himself on his sword, but only because he knows Shrup will grant him a pardon. Same thing happened with Oliver North in the Iran Contra shit.

9. I don't think Rove would fall on the sword
Let's face it. Rove is a pretty smart guy so why would Bush or the RNC tarish rove and loose the architect. Cheney already said he will not run is getting up in age, I bet he bites the bullet.

4. Here's a thought...
Edited on Sun Jul-17-05 01:53 AM by vard28
If he is a pawn, he's probably pissed that he's gonna be remembered in the history books as "Turd Blossom" instead of a cool name like Deep Throat.

Being branded by our illustrious leader with that nickname, I'm guessing he'll snap soon and sing like a canary. Misery loves company...

8. I see a pattern of many "people" trying to make Karl seem small.
Karl? Is that you?

What are you going to give him???? A soft landing???

He is a creep.

a small player in the scheme of things, however, he is not the mastermind. There lies the difference.

He is the mastermind. He is big. Stop making him seem small. When
he goes...a big controller of the patsies goes.

15. I'm starting to believe he is
The fact that he suddenly reversed course and gave Matt Cooper a release suggests that he knows he's being set up and is now willing to sing, probably only for total immunity. Knowing how this guy made his bones says he'll never fall on his sword for anyone, that's for suckers. Interesting times ahead, for sure.
