Judith Miller may have compromised probe into Islamic Charities
In "The Mystery Man," General Editor Jonathan Darman and Investigative Correspondent Michael Isikoff profile Patrick Fitzgerald, special prosecutor to the Valerie Plame Wilson leak investigation. Associates say Fitzgerald is wary of reporters, dating back to his days trying terrorist cases. Concerned about protecting national security, he'd go to extraordinary lengths to keep sensitive material secret, only to see it published by meddling journalists.
Darman and Isikoff write that a particularly annoying offender, coincidentally, was Judith Miller, the New York Times reporter Fitzgerald sent to prison earlier this month. In an earlier, unrelated clash, Fitzgerald had accused Miller of compromising a probe into Islamic charities by phoning one of the groups just before a government crackdown. Launching a leak investigation, he tried to get ahold of Miller's phone records and those of a colleague at the Times. The Times claimed that its reporters were following standard
practice and a federal judge quashed Fitzgerald's subpoenas.

1. One error:
"In an earlier, unrelated clash..." Actually, it is closely related. This is one of the leaves on the clover with Plame and the document forgeries.

3. Perhaps it's time to subpoena those records again.
I'm sure the Times doesn't want to soil its *cough* sterling reputation by standing by its *cough* journalist who is aiding and abetting the spread of terrorism.

Unrelated clash, my a**. About as unrelated as one tire to the other tires on an automobile.

4. Judith has said
in the past that Fitzgerald wanted her records in the Plame case to use in the Islamic front case. Clearly they are connected.

5. It's Time This Story Started Rising To The Top
Judy has been doing the dirty all over the place. It irked me when I saw an interview with Abrams crowing about how they'd beaten back the subpoena for the telephone records. He was trying to insinuate that the judges in that matter were better than those in the Plame case, and poor Judy was suffering from Fitz's over-zealousness.

What I want to know is why no one is connecting the dots with Miller? She has been making a false case for war from the get-go, she has been hip-hugging with Chalabi, is accused of warning off terrorists and who knows what else? Why has there been not outcry against this woman and her nefarious deeds?

A friend told me that she heard Judy's husband has a plan to get her out of jail. How, I wonder, does he think he can do that, send in Chuck Norris and a team of commandos? Miz Miller, methinks, has an over-inflated sense of her own importance and power. It must be quite a shock to her to not be getting her way. It's a long time since anyone said the word "NO" to Judy.

6. I've never seen all the connections put together, but
The Islamic charities were closely associated with Grover Norquist. Norquist's good pal and man in the White House was Rove. Rove arranged White House meetings for the Muslims. Subsequently, several of the Muslims were tied to terrorism, and at least one was convicted.

7. There You Go...
It's circular, and keeps going around to all the same players, Judy being one of them. But why aren't people talking about this?

9. Holy shit. I saw this info a few weeks ago

Supposedly she went to Global Relief Foundation, a group known to fund al Qaeda, and tipped them off about an FBI raid that was about to happen. Looks like Judith's going to be sitting in jail for a little while longer then she expected. And guess what Judith, Georgie Boy is not going to bail your skinny little ass out of jail. Are you still laughing now?

Can you spell TREASON?
