Bush has once more breached his oath of office.
Edited on Sun Sep-28-03 08:32 AM by The Lone Liberal

Throughout his administration, Bush has selectively enforced the laws of this country. He has demonstrated that he has no regard for Constitution or the statutory laws that are passed under that Constitution. He will only enforce the law when it suits his purpose.

One of the more glaring examples is his unwillingness to enforce a law that was passed in the wake of the murder of a CIA officer. The Congress passed a law with the purpose of making it a Federal crime to publish, release the name of any CIA officer.

Now that someone on his staff has done broken this Federal Law, Bush has elected not to pursue the enforcement of that law. This is just one more instances of the discriminatory practice of law enforcement that Bush supports.

It makes one wonder if there is not some reason that Bush cannot find the perpetrator of the anthrax murders. Could it be that they are someone who supports the administration?

3. Jail? Heh, jail would be "too good" for us.
We'd be the recipients of a lovely one-way ticket to Gitmo.

2. Bush is guilty of high crimes (screw the misdemeanors).

He is also guilty of treason and sedition, as is his whole regime. The entire cabal needs to be arrested, tried, and given the maximum sentence for treason. I serve notice that I hereby volunteer for the "squad", ...blindfolds be damned!!

4. Wrong Idea....

I'm assuming you are volunteering for the folks to carry out an eventual execution.

Wrong idea.

Dead men learn nothing. Would it not be more excruciating for them to see all their attempts at bringing their plans to fruition come to naught?

I can think of NOTHING more maddening to them than to see all the PNAC/Pax Americana/world domination schemes of the last few years be utterly crushed.

You shouldn't want to kill them.... just make them WISH they were dead.

MUCH more satisfying, no?

5. Oh, ... I was referring to the "slapping squad" ....NOT!

While I suppose it might be nice to let them stew in prison for 50 years or so, I could not agree to that, unless, each had a giant, tatooed cellmate named "Spike", and were forced to dress in nothing but pantyhose for the duration of their stay.

Seriously though, these people are guilty of treason, and have caused the deaths of tens of thousands, and injuries to tens of thousands more, the destruction of a country(ies), and so many other crimes, that they DESERVE the ultimate punishment, and nothing less. And in this case, I waive my belief "non-capital" punishment, as befits the enormity of their crimes.
