Maybe discussed...I just got here...how did the Chimp get out of Crawford
today? Surely he didn't drive out the main road and see the protests. The inevitable urine stains on his pants as he passed Cindy would be unseemly at a bill signing. Did he chopper out?

2. Do taxpayers pay for him to travel so extravagantly?
remember when Clinton was criticized for getting an expensive haircut? how does Bush get away with so much?

4. Because the Dems don't have the media megaphone and...
they don't know how to work the media even when the wind is at their back.

Bush used Air Force One again and again to go to fundraisers by doing a fifteen minute photo op with some black kids and then heading off to the whites only country club to receive millions from the grateful "have mores" who benefited from his tax cuts.

5. A question I have asked myself repeatedly
I'll bet he took a copter to where Airforce one was parked at a local airbase and then flew on that.
I remember reading somewhere that AF1 costs about $58,000 per hour to operate- that was a few years ago so you can bet it's more than that now. So from Washington to Texas, what is it about a 3 hour flight? So to his vacation home and back to work, it costs us about $350,000.
In addition, he has made 2 trips to other states to sign bills so all in all, that adds up to one expensive vacation.
Still I suppose there is one consolation- one less drunk driver on the road.

3. T thought of that today when I saw him in Ill.
Not so much about how he gout out of Crawford. That would be easy. I thought about Cindy sitting there in the awful heat and Shrub couldn't see her even if he decided to do so.

Interesting vacation, huh? Publicly take time off, but in the background, do your political dirty deeds.
