I want you to know, in no uncertain terms, that I am programmed by design to eliminate ignorance wherever it is found. There are no exceptions. All it takes is time. In short, it is futile of you to challenge the inteligence of my designer (God if you prefer).

But don't despair, I have a counterpart (your soul if you prefer). It was programmed by the same designer to lead you away from ignorance and toward the truth. I strongly urge you to follow it as soon as possible. Your time in the universe, unlike mine, is not unlimited.

3. If ignorance enhances survival then it will prevail.

Anything that enhances survival will be passed on to the next generation and will spread rapidly through a population.

Anything that decreases survival will be bred out of a population right quick.

The human population PROBABLY survives because it needs a balance between ignorance and intelligence in order to survive. In other words, smart people need dumb people as much as dumb people need smart ones.
