Candidates for office, check in, please!
I'd like to compile a list of DUers, DU spouses/partners and (come out of the woodwork, please) lurkers who are running for public office -- any office, from school board to president of the U.S.

Please, include your Web site, so I can list it on my blog. (I'm going to create a DUer link section.)

I'd also just like to find out how many of us (well, you) are running for office. It seems like a fair number.

1. I don't think this is a good time for a count
Next year, maybe, after the convention.

Some of us are contemplating runs, I'm sure, but nothing is certain at this point.

3. I'm not looking for an absolute count...
After all, not everyone who is running for something is running in the Nov. 2004 election. Plenty of local elections are much sooner.

Running or helping someone run is tough work, and I think DUers in this situation can be a great resource to each other. The "big throbbing brain" has been vital to me (I'm helping my husband, Whitacre D_WI, in his run for Congress).

AND today's the last day to raise money for the period--

Please think about making a contribution over at http://www.CrystleForSenate.com and help send a message to corporate politicians that their 15 minutes is up!

Thanks!

Charlie
