What if Bush kicked out all the neocons?
I was thinking about this today. We can all pretty much surmise that it was Scooter Libby who did the leak, on command from the Grand imperial wizard Cheney. So if Scooter walks the plank, and then Cheney's heart starts acting up and has to retire for health reasons....could this stretch to the Wolf/Perle/Rummy cabal?

Could the scandal get so large as Bush, seeing he has been duped by these hawks (and I truly do blame the neocons for this because Bush is just a highly suggestible moron), goes ahead and dumps these assholes?

Could the State Department and CIA engineer their downfall?

Could Bush actually reverse the direction of our disasterous foreign policy under the hawks, and actually regain the goodwill of the world?

I know I'm dreaming here, but could you imagine if it happened?

1. No Bush can't do that.
He's in too deep. The only way to free the neocon's grip on power is that they all have to go. Even if all except Bush were replaced by others not connected to PNAC, leaving Bush there keeps their finger in the pie and Bush has to comply. He is in too deep with the whole stinking cabal.

3. I don't think his position is irreversable...
although it will never happen, I think Bush might be able to pull it off.

I don't think the neocons are as connected as Poppa Bush's little network. I think the neocons could be put away easier than we think.

If that were done, and Powell were begged to be VP, this might be Bush's best bet for a sure first election.

5. No as I think the Vice is really running things.
Bush is their as a front man with a 'good' heart and the rest is in the back ground and they need to keep the church people in line, so it hangs together or the whole thing falls apart. Unless and I really mean this Bush gets it into his head that he can do it all on his own.So far he has been put at Camp David, ranch or out of sight when trouble in about. When hos father was prez Barbara used to put her hand over his face to shut him up. Read some of those books.

the Heritage Foundation, the Council on Foreign Policy, the Aspen Institute, Christian Broadcasing Network University, etc., are cranking out clones all the time ........ and, out of sight wouldn't necessarily mean out of mind ...... plays would be called from the bench ... and, neocons cross party lines ...

7. first, he'd get another 'pretzel' talking to---more bruises
Then he'd suddenly change his tune and embrace their agenda again. Which of course is his own agenda anyway.
