Just listening to NPR
They had an expert on discussing ways to find identity of hurricane victoms. He mentioned that 140 bodies had been found in a nursing home yesterday.He might have made a mistake. CNN yesterday said 40 bodies had been found in a nursing home.He also said if victims could not be recognized visually, they could do a DNA test from survivors who had someone missing. Sounds like insurmountable task.

1. one of the cable shows filmed a small DNA lab being delivered
I can't remember where though - possibly near Gulfport, where they were setting up a massive forensic/morgue unit

2. They did it with every body part of the 9-11 victims
This time it should be a lot easier to id people.

They have whole bodies and in most cases a street address.
