Networks scramble for Bush address

LOS ANGELES, CA, United States (UPI) -- President Bush`s last minute primetime address to the nation left networks scrambling to move new series and season premieres.

Bush will take over the airwaves for 30 to 45 minutes at 9 p.m. EDT Thursday to talk about Hurricane Katrina.

Fox had to move its scheduled second episode of 'Reunion' to Sept. 22 -- directly opposite the season premieres of 'CSI' on CBS and NBC`s 'The Apprentice,' Daily Variety reported Wednesday.

Fox had wanted to get four episodes on the air before being forced to preempt its programming for the baseball playoffs, but now that won`t happen.

4. Messin up the tube again
the last time this fucknutz* did this he gave his nazi propaganda show complete with milirary background and it went over like a lead balloon.
Now he's going to piss off more people wanting to watch mostly mindless drivel, I doubt that we hear anything new, these idjits are a one trick pony and that trick wore thin a long time ago.

5. Here is the thing
This guy is suppossed to be a man of the people, one of us, etc, etc.

BUT HE KEEPS MESSING UP TV schedules.

Is it cause he thinks he is more important than the television or because he doesn't get that messing up TV is not good for a guy to do--especially when he has nothing to say!!

Last time he watched, he choked on a pretzel, and the damn dog did not even sound the alarm. Shows what the dog must think of him....

8. just say no!!!
the networks should just say no. Let one of them cover it; let Fox cover it, the others should go on with regular schedule.

'cause you KNOW it's just gonna be more of the same Rove bullshit!!

15. 30 to 45 minutes for what would be a 12-minute speech for a normal person
If he didn't pause after every third or fourth word he'd be done a lot sooner. (Just one of the many reasons I can't stand to see his stupid monkey face on TV.) I'd be willing to be that the teleprompter has to be set to scroll extra-slow in order for Chimpoleon to read it all without stumbling--well, stumbling more than usual, anyway.

And if it's content we're talkin' about, it could be cut down to about twelve seconds using these phrases which will be the underlying (emphasis on "lying") themes:
Everything changed after 9/11. The fact that the people I chose to be in my administration are incompetent isn't my fault. I'll protect y'all from terra and/or Mother Nature, unless I don't because me 'n Dick are on vacation at the same time, in which case I won't and it still won't be my fault. More tax cuts for wealthy folks like me will help stimulate the U.S. economy's recovery from the aftermath of Hurricane Corrina. Oops, dang! I mean, Katrina. Heh, heh, that 'un was fer Pickles, honest! Thank you, good night, and God help--I mean, God bless 'Merka.

16. Got the feeling we are going to be asked to sacrifice
He'll tell us that we are just gonna have to bear down (lips pursed) and live with a zillion dollar a gallon oil 'cause the damage was worse than thought to the refineries (don't laugh, I heard that Thursday the government will release a report that the refineries are in worst shape than we thought--yeah, sure). I'll bet he'll plead for us to give more to the charities so that more money can be stuck in dishonest pockets and the poor get the usual bag full of shit. I'll bet he'll tell us how everything from SS to medicare has to go 'cause of this great disaster. I think, in general, I'll vomit......

What I'd really like to see is ABC, CBS, and NBC not carry the speech. Sorry *, you don't rate.

21. I've got to mark that time:
to make sure I'm not watching then.

Well, I don't watch the tube that much, anyway -- and the Daily Show is on much later.
