Just left an anti-war protest in Saginaw, MI
There were about 20 of us standing on the busiest corner in town from 5-6PM....right when everyone is leaving for the weekend or leaving work. We got a great response from almost everyone. Only lady gave us trouble...she stopped and said "If you dont like Bush then get out of the fucking country you fucking communists!" to Which I replied "I'LL HAPPILY LEAVE IF YOU ENLIST IN IRAQ" she sped off.

2. Communist?
Are you a Communist? I'm not. I would have gladly stood with you on the corner. Did you give her any reason to think you are a Communist?

Dorks. That's the best they can come up with?

3. Not a pinko commie fag?
Communist China is our biggest trading partner and banker. There ought not be any problem being a communist.

4. Way to represent!
And anyone who wants to silence dissent and force blind loyalty to "elected" leaders is a fascist.

Funny, I don't remember them running around and demanding loyalty to the president when Clinton was our CINC.

5. From one Michigander to another.......
Thank you for getting out there! I went to one in Livonia a few weeks ago and got a great response also. Only one person drove by (when we all had our heads bowed in prayer for our troops) and yelled out, "Democrats suck". That was all they could think of to say? I hope you wore a warm coat today...it was freezing here in Michigan!!
