They're showing my 11 year old Anthrax videos in Science class

Last night I picked her up from school. She said they are studying bacteria and tried to gross me out by telling me about it. But what really did gross me out was when she said they saw a video on bacteria that discussed Saddam, Bin Laden and the dangers of anthrax and how anthrax can kill people and how they must be careful of suspicious packages. :eyes:

She said that when she heard this crap, she started rolling her eyes and looking around for her teacher. She was looking to lock eyes with her teacher in a knowing way, she said, to communicate, "I can't believe you are showing this to me."

But her teacher was mesmerized and all the kids were staring wide eyed in rapt attention at the video.

She said she just shook her head and tried her best to ignore the "lame" propoganda. I was very proud of her and told her so.

I am in Wisconsin. I don't leave my house without passing 8-cylinder pickup trucks with flags either silk screened on the windows or posted in pairs on the hoods. At work if I don't see pix of BUSH, then somebody is doing collections for the troops (which is good but it is also a pro-Bush, pro-War activity for the most part here). All in all the politics in Wisconsin blows. Hard.
