1. Those are pay grades listed, not school grades.
In the government, jobs are classified as GS-4 through GS-12. No worries - don't think they're taking over the public schools (at least not yet). :hi:

3. I know what pay grades are, I used to work for the federal govt as a GS
Why would they need SS NATIONWIDE?

You would think that these positions would already be filled.
Are these NEW positions? Created for what reason?

5. The Secret Service is ALWAYS hiring nationwide
Las Vegas, for instance, has had a field office since the 60s. Even though it was a fairly small town, it had (obviously) a massive problem w/ counterfeiting. Counterfeiting is still what the SS (unfortunate moniker) mostly does, and they have field offices in at least fifteen cities across the country.

Big agencies are constantly hiring or at least advertising for resumes.

2. Looks like it's nothing special
This bit:
Job Type: Information Technology / Admin & Clerical
...tells us they're hiring a manager, a clerk, or a computer techie. Mind you, they're hiring one with a Top Secret clearance, but that makes sense seeing who they're working for. :)

4. sparosnare is correct
GS stands for "General Schedule' which are government pay grades. Secret Service agents are hired at the GS-5/7/9 level
