Delay Uses Indictment to raise money!
DeLay Uses Website to Attack Prosecutor
By JOHN SOLOMON, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - Stung by his recent indictment in Texas, Tom Delay is trying to turn his legal woes into a financial boon for his re-election. The former House majority leader is using his congressional campaign to distribute to voters derogatory information about the prosecutor who brought the charges against him and to solicit donations for his re-election.

"Help Tom fight back," reads one of the solicitations on the http://www.TomDelay.com Web site that voters are being directed to as part of an Internet-based campaign funded by DeLay's re-election committee.

1. His money memo
This man has no shame.

Dear Friend,

In switching parties, President Reagan plainly, and in simple words explained, "The Democratic Party left me, I did not leave them.”

I can’t help but wonder what he’d say of his old party today?

I know you’ve heard about MoveOn.org. Unfortunately, most of our friends and neighbors don’t have the facts – and we aren’t getting them from the mainstream media.

I urgently need your help to set the record straight.

Please contribute using the form below. Your gift will be immediately put to work. Thank You.

2. Lmao, "Blast that MoveOn.org, They are at it again
trashing my good name!"

I can't believe his fund raising letter didn't include Micheal Moore. Usually if the repukes blame MoveOn you see Moore's name in the same sentence. Someone call Moore and tell him to get on the ball and make a movie of DeLay's life.

3. Bums. Begging for money.
If he needs money maybe he should get a second job, like regular folks do.

5. This man is a real piece of work
How anyone can take him seriously is beyond beleif. He says things more audacious than any RW nutcase, then turns around and projects it on his "persecutors." Hell, the wrestlers on WWE are more convincing actors. God, I am so tired of listening to his droning, fake victim crap. Any time someone calls him on his wickedness, boom, he attacks them and plays angel. Angel indeed-Lucifer.

8. It is amazing that he was ever elected
He just exudes 'evil'! It's no surprise that he is involved in corruption and with people who are now tied to the murder of a business associate, and that the mafia is involved with that particular case.

I'm hoping that Abramoff is telling everything to the Feds and that pretty soon Delay will have more indictments to deal with, and from a different prosecutor.

I remember reading that when Abramoff heard Delay claimed not to have known him very well, he (Abramoff) was furious and said 'they are lying, they are all lying and Tom Delay knows everything'!!

I paraphrased that, but that's the gist of what he said, he was not too happy about being deserted in his hour of need. Let's hope he's getting his sentence reduced by telling all he knows.
