Although we haven't actually started YET, I heard from someone who knows the General Manager of one of the stores that's striking that the Feds are getting involved. They say it is because of the impact it will have on the economy. I'm still fighting, as are the rest of us, but anyone want to start betting if we'll see a repeat of teh firing of the air traffic controllers.

3. Shopped at a Ralph's here in Santa Monica

about 9:30 tonight, and when we drove in two
SM cop cars were parked right inside the entrance
to the lot, not doing nothing, the cops just standing around
talking, and when we came out 45 minutes later,
they were still there. Pre-strike intimidation?
