Turdgate will be a major blow to Hillary Clinton's aspirations
Exhibit A is the story NPR ran on Tuesday in which Senate Dems were asked if they regretted their votes to authorize the war in Iraq. Ben Nelson was among those who defended his vote, saying, “You just don’t look back.” Really? Why not? Afraid you might actually learn something from your mistakes, Senator?

Hillary Clinton refused to even address the question, telling reporter David Welna, “I really can’t talk about this on the fly, it’s too important”.

That's an excerpt from a Huffington post.

I believe that the longer she goes without changing the idiotic strategy she has embarked upon, the less likely she is to compete for the nomination. As more information comes out of Italy and Fitzgerald's investigation, it will be proven that they lied about everything. By that time, what could she possibly do to save her credibiliy?

1. Indeed.
By the time the primaries come along the anti war candidate WILL be the ideal candidate for both parties. It would have been smarter for her to set herself up for that now rather than later. But who knows? 08 is still 3 years from now...

5. I think when Able Danger gets more exposure, that will likely be the end
of Clinton's chances in the '08 elections. There's a whole lot of skulduggery connecting these administrations together wrt to the "war on terra" woven together in twisted weird threads - that would probably should make excellent grist for the next John Le Carre - the more i read, the more i am stunned at how the cliche "stranger than fiction" could not be more apropos.

And when it all comes out in the next couple of years, Clinton and sycophants should forget all about pinning hopes on a Clinton Dynasty in the next presidential bid for the white house.

9. She might as well
just kiss it good bye. How could any professional politician possibly not have a sound bite statement about their position on the war?
She carries too much baggage with her and she has no morals if she isn't willing to denounce this idiotic war.
I'd say Hill has met her Chappaquidick.

3. Hillary has NO chance of winning
We all know this already.
More importantly, Hillary does not support what BETTER be
the Democratic platform: Out of Iraq NOW.

4. And how about Chuck Schumer???
He answered it the way Kerry did in Aug, 2004 at the Grand Canyon.
Schumer's turned into a fucking jerk.

And Kerry? Kerry lied about his Aug, 2004 statement in today's speech. In spite of the fact that he defended that statement throughout the rest of his campaign, today he tells a whopping lie by casting the blame on his campaign staff. What a chicken shit jerk. He's a lying, spineless coward who does not deserve office.

I'm sick and tired of this crap.

6. TURDGATE! I LOVE IT!
haven't heard that one before...
As for Hillary, I think you're right, or you should be right, but who knows? She could buy/bully her way to the nomination...at least it seems that way until we know who else is running, which probably won't happen for at least another year...

10. If Hillary wants the nomination, it's hers. The women of America are ready
for her brand of solid, sober leadership. Plus, with Bill along for the ride, America gets two for one. They will assemble a team that will build American spirit at home and heal the hurt we've caused abroad.
