I've been watching CNN and I'm amazed
They're actually pushing some tough questions. John King just held Brownbeck's feet to the fire on the this excuse about not releasing White House info as the reason for the Meirs withdrawal. Wants to know why the Repubs backed Bush during the fight over releasing the info on Cheney's energy group, etc.

The right is going to have to spin so hard on this plus Fitzmas that I'm hoping their heads will just fly off.

Someone's hypocrisy is showing!

2. The right's hypocrisy shows every day - someone is finally
calling them on it.

The big question is whether or not we see it on the 6:00 PM news tonight.

9. Does annoucing it today mean that there will be some Cheney-Libby
announcements today or is the last day they could do it based on the already planned start of the Meirs hearings?

If they put it out now, Fitzmas will throw it off the front page tomorrow.

16. They should change the name of the Republican Party to
the Whirling Dervish Party.

The spin out there is making me nauseous.

11. Watching their choices about who they're interviewing and
how they're questioning them, I really am starting to think that they're going for the outrageous factor. It's much more "entertaining" for them to find people who might say controversial things.

Using Coulter is bound to do that, for example. She's really crowing about how the "radical right" (her words) control the country. That'll get some folks sitting up and taking notice.

14. i see today, media has become very effective in taunting all parties
to fight. and with their talking points. they have

gone after dems for calling this move by radical right
taunting radical right to stick to guns and get ultra conserv
taunting bush to pretend to be man and be reckless again

really interesting

17. I agree. I think that the next few days will be very interesting
for those people who are interested in how the media works.

I've seen more guts from the media today, in regards to politics, than I've seen in a long time.

Hope it continues.

18. unless their sole motive is agenda in dishonesty. then nothing good will
come of it. they attack the moderate and dems as a useless message. dismiss what this large group os saying about administration, they leave the continued unhappiness with dem party, when it isnt warranted and justified. i watch people on this board attack dem in the same right wing talking point. it is effective how media uses it against the dem. even when bush is being bashed.

someone will come on and say, schumer didnt say enough or was all wrong, adn durbin was useless. and it simply isnt true

19. Even the analysis today is more hard-hitting. I wonder if
it's just a matter of smelling blood in the water?

They came out a said that the WH may have to cave to the radicals.

They're also saying that the conservatives don't trust the president.

Hmmm...how do you not trust someone who is going to return morality and honor to the WH?
