I am suspicious of the Miers withdrawal and the delay of the indictments
Am I being paranoid or does the far right have that much power in saying, "you let us down, we will take down your administration unless you send a true conservative to the court"...

1. you are being paranoid
delay of indictments is to see if any potential indictees will "squeal" on the higher ups

miers withdrawal is because wacked out wingnuts got mad at bush and wont give him any more money

6. The indictments have ben delayed? Where are you getting that?
All I have seen is a bunch of unnamed 'sources' making pronouncements about when the indictments would be made known, and being totally wrong with their 'insider info'

There has been no delay that I am aware of. Do you have a link to a source that actually names itself and has the ability to know this information?

7. Delayed indictments? Based on what? uncomfirmed sources?
The reality is Fitz or anyone representing him, has not made any announcements or promised us anything.

9. LOL, Fitz did not tell us to expect indictments on any certain day
We have been torturing ourselves. I was following the rumors and hoping too. So, I understand what you're saying. :)

10. Yes, you're being paranoid.
The far right simply doesn't have that power. Or, more to the point, they have nothing to do with any indictments that might be handed down.

Bush completely miscalculated to what extent he could install anyone he wanted on the Supreme Court. Because the Roberts confirmation turned out to be a slam dunk despite his lack of a paper trail, Bush clearly then thought to himself, "Oh, goodie. Now I can have by friend Harriet on the Supreme Court, because if they approved John, of course they'll approve her." Okay, so he might not really think in a complex sentence like that, but it was something along those lines.

What he does not get is that most people who self identify as conservatives are not extreme right wingers. It's just that they've heard the word "liberal" demonized for the last decade or so, and they do not understand to what extent the extreme right wing has taken over control of the Republican Party. However, that control is far from total, as we've seen today.

11. Someone will always be paranoid about something around here.
If things go bad for Bush, someone is suspicious. If things go well for Bush, someone is suspicious.

Everything is a setup.
