BIG RED THINGS
In the midst of all the other stories swirling around these days it seems that one story had slipped by my radar. It seems that another one of those Big Red Things hit the US a few days ago and once again the powers that be were not prepared for it and once again the people are PO'ed.

Look George here is the thing with these Big Red Things:

They are real big and tend to move real slow
You can see them coming.
They hit in generally the same area (you can exclude about 3/4 of the country from having to look out for them)
The Big Red Things repeatedly attack your people so you might want to help them out...or maybe you really don't care.

This isn't really complicated and you don't have to do it all yourself. In fact there are a lot of people who do nothing BUT worry about the Big Red Things, trust them and help them do their job even if the only thing you have to do is stay out of the way.

I have included a picture of one of these Big Red Things for future reference. If you should see one coming you need to tell someone to take care of it and the next day follow up with a "Did you take care of it?" type question.*

*-I don't have an MBA from Harvard.

NOTE- sometimes these are Big WHITE Things .... so watch out for that. Don't assume that it is only the RED ones you have to worry about.

1. "Big Red Things determined to strike..."
Nah, they probably wouldn't have paid attention to that, either.

Uh oh honey looks like one of them Big Red Things is coming again.

My wife "Look out for the Big Red Thing!!!!"

-make several jokes about being able to detect the Big Red Thing on the TV screen- ....we have a lot of time with the baby you know.

We don't even say "hurricane" anymore-"Big Red Thing" suffices.

5. How bad does that look for the bushes?
Florida is Jeb!'s state. If the republican spin of "it's the responsibility of state and local government" is true, then it's Jeb!'s fault. If they admit that it's federal, it's bush's fault.

Plus, the southern Gulf Coast is largely populated with rich white republican old people. Someone's ass is in a sling, I'd say.

6. Bush ain't worried because...
He just added another month's pay to the trick or treat bag of his former little lap dog "BROWNIE"!

That's right, Brownie will be on the payroll, not one month as advertised a month ago, but two months and counting.

8. Free advice
Maybe I should start marketing myself to give management speeches (much less time consuming than actual management consulting where you have to get dressed up and sit in the office all the way through lunch at least).
