Question I just heard discussed on MSNBC. I can't figure it out - anybody out there have an idea?

1. Why would they? Even we know all of what we've heard so far
is rumor and supposition.

Although I'd like to see them both gone, I can't fault them for not resigning in advance of any charges!

They have no respect for anyone or anything, not even the office of the President and they don't care who they take down in the process.

8. They know that the bar will be again lowered to "convicted"
and when they are convicted , the bar will be re-set to "imprisoned", while they file appeal after appeal..

14. Me neither. It's much more damaging for them if the nation's calling...
...for their resignations, and they just refuse. It's the culture of corruption and cronyism.

13. maybe they argued that if they quit no one would be left to orchestrate
their defense, exonerations, the media distraction and the eventual pardons.......And they would sing like canaries.

It's like throwing hit men out of the mob.
