Josh Marshall: Fitz spotted outside bush's personal lawyer's office.
Hope this isn't a dupe, but, from www.talkingpointsmemo.com there is this:

"Mr. Fitzgerald was spotted Friday morning outside the office of James Sharp, Mr. Bush's personal lawyer. Mr. Bush was interviewed about the case by Mr. Fitzgerald last year. It is not known what discussions, if any, were taking place between the prosecutor and Mr. Sharp. Mr. Sharp did not return a phone call, and Mr. Fitzgerald's spokesman, Randall Samborn, declined to comment."

((be still my fluttering heart.))

2. Dare we hope? Is Fitzgerald the dragon slayer I
have been hoping for? There is undoubtedly much he knows and is keeping it very quiet.

3. Interesting indeed...

Perhaps Mr. Fitzgerald would like to talk to Mr. Sharp's client again.

5. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but, when Bush spoke about Libby...
...yesterday, I got the sense that he was actually defending the man. And I wondered if he had to do that because to do otherwise would imperil his own coming defense.

It was just a gut feeling.

6. That's curious.
He went into the federal court fairly early, I thought, and was in there most of the morning.

10. Bush doesn't testify, he "chats".
Remember his appearance on Meet The Press? Russert asked him if he would be testifying before the committee investigating what happened on 9/11. He said, "Testify? You know, I'd be happy to have a chat with them." Nope, he doesn't testify, he "chats". Love to see him try to get away with that crap with Fitz!

9. Probably to make sure Fitz knows that Cheney and Bush won't
testify. They'll turn down any subpoenas to be put under "oath", and it will just go to the supreme court for several rounds of butt kissing.

I have every idea that the imperial presidency is just making sure Fitz knows they won't play his games.
