CA scare tactic phone ads slam planned parenthood for arnold....

found a message on my phone today:

a woman in heavily accented english (spanish accented) says today her daughter was TAKEN from school by her boyrfriend's mother and FORCED to go to planned parenthood for an abortion. When this woman (the mom) found out and RUSHED to planned parenthood she was told she had NO RIGHTS in the matter. She GOT HER DAUGHTER back only after the abortion.

It does not specify this woman is the actual mother of a real girl or if it is all fantasy acting.

the ad urges support for a CA proposition that requires parental notification/permission for a minor to get an abortion.

the ads are pure christofascist scare tactics that go hand in hand with the thousands of christofascists arnold is importing from out of state to try and get the regressive republican base out to vote.

the hope is that dems and independents will stay home.

I vote no on all propositions with very rare exceptions as they are all special interest driven and are usually very poor law. Most people who gather signatures for these initiatives are nothing more than paid prostitutes who would sell their own mothers for a dollar a signature.

And PP should sue for slander if the recording was done in such a way that it seemed to be a real testimonial. Even if the case doesn't get very far, at least get it in the public record that they deny it.
