If no Democrats vote on a bill, does that invalidate the bill?

If no Democrats vote on a bill, does that invalidate the bill?
This is a parliamentary question.

If a vote is held on a bill in the Senate, and Democratic senators stay away and do not vote, is the bill still valid? Or is there not a quorum?

Just wondering if that was another way the Democrats can wield enough power to affect the outcome of Senate actions.

Of course, that means that the Republicans have to get almost everyone to the floor to vote.

But if Dems abstain, it can look bad...like they are "taking the ball and going home."

And even so, the Republicans can pass anything without them.
