my trip to the grocery store

so here I am filling the truck (40 bucks later, there is a reason we drive it little any longer), and I actually managed to spill some gas on me. So I went, shoot, ok no way round it, so went to Starbucks by the grocery store to wash up.. and get some coffee... my view is I do that I get something.

Anyhow I am Reading this book on Quantum Comptuters... and this guy comes in paper in hand... now this is the local reactionary fish wrap, and he is angry and mumbling to himself. I just go... uh oh... so made sure my back was against something solid.

My luck he seats on the table by me and opens his paper... then turns to me... "Can you believe it, them Communists at the unions flipped the vote on 75, when I went to bed it was NOT passing!"

I smiled... "I can, the coastal counties had not been counted yet, they started at I think 12:45 and it flipped round 01:10."

"Well I think they managed to steal it, hacking you know."

"I know what you are talking about, I see you have been doing your homework and have read about Blackwell and OH." He looked befuddled so I filled him in...

"Bush won, get over it!"

"75 failed get over it."

"I'm an American cute accent and all before you even mention that." I batted my eyes, "so it is fraud when you loose but not fraud when you don't? The DBs are an issue, an American issue." He stood and left angry... three other people started asking questions... so this became a Black Box Voting informal session, one of them is a professor of computer sciences and once I explained some of the technicals he smiled, and said... yes you could do it even with that HPC you have there."

"Indeed, I know that. This is why this is NOT a partisan issue and we need to go back to paper, and I mean PAPER."

I agreed with him that there is a problem with the machines... and the fact he actually raised that issue had me going... WOW.. freepers talkign this? Hey if they want to go back to paper because of this, sure I will stand with them demanding Diebold get out of my county

I also think the book I was readyng (research) had the C. Science prof going wow, even if it is the civilian kind...

I hope some seeds were planted though
