I watch Imus sporadically. He calls Rumsfeld a war criminal and cries about Kerry losing. Would someone kindly tell me why people here dislike him?

an opinion. He's a wishy-washy old curmudgeon, but I check him out every a.m. to see who his guests are; he can pull in the powerful guests, too, and he has a liberal heart. To each their own.

3. Imus has been okay for a week after five mostly terrible years....

he has had some great liberal guests so far this week....we screen him for his guests and watch if liberals are on.

8. FRANKEN Did Great by GOING THERE IN PERSON

sL-IMUS does his shtick of trashing some of his guests BEFORE they're on and AFTER they're off. It's easier to do that when they're on the phone instead of live in the studio. sL-IMUS disappointedly asked FRANKEN why he didn't just call in. FRANKEN said because he had committed himself to be there.

It was great that he called the old bastid's game. FRANKEN was his usual steady, unflinching self.

As for somebody saying above that sL-IMUS has a "good liberal heart"------PUL-LEEZE! He's a racist hick trying to impose himself on his Eastern host territory.

And before somebody says what a philanthropist he is, whatever good he does INFLICTING PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL pain on ill children is COMPARTMENTALIZED over into its own corner. He pours endles BILE out of his repugnant mouth. I know what shtick is, but repugnant shtick is still repugnant.

It's like the America-Most-Wanted dude, who lost a son horribly and went on to do good for many: But he's Jeb Crow Shrub's buddy and said (on sL-IMUS's show, btw) that he was not like CLINTON because he had confessed his adultery and had gotten counseling for it (before going on to divorce). Just being Jeb's buddy makes him a jerk, with the good part over in one box somewhere else.
