Tuesday apparently scared the crap out of the GOP
I'm looking through this mornings late breaking news and what do I see?

GOP removes Arctic drilling from budget.

Congress may cut Patriot Act powers.

They are running scared.

1. Good...
Let them cede this stuff now so we don't have to spend a whole term of Democratic majority power rewriting all these bills and fixing their mistakes...

We have a lot to do as it is already... but if we can get them to backpedal on some big ones we can transition the country back to normalcy rather quickly.

2. How long will it last?
I suspect that in a few weeks, thing will be business as usual. Usual being as in what they have done for the last 5 years. Rubber Stamp for the White House.

5. How did all the gay rights thing do?
I read that gay rights and the school thing was on a vote in about 20 states but have not seen the run down any place. I think that may be a better thing to tell what people are thinking.

7. Thank you, thank you, for such an upbeat message!

I'm glad to hear the so-and-so's are running scared.

They should be, the way they've crapped all over the American people. And will keep on doing it if they can.

11. I would rather see the Democrats run brave than GOP run scared.
I would hope that the democrats would become emboldened by what appears to be a huge shift in Public attitude about government and it's functions and the corruption level we are currently at. DLCers should be as scared as the GOP because the wagon they hitched themselves to is about to come apart...
