1. Not here. (All I know is Zarqawi is everywhere and he. is. evil!)
And because of Zarqawi we must invade Syria, if only to
get Zarqawi. By the way, he owns a summer house in Iran.

4. I have heard a couple of reporters speculate on rumors that he
has been injured, but there is never any confirming data. It sounds to me, if all the reports are to be believed, that he has the same recuperative abilities of a super hero.

6. He's the new Bin Laden.
Bin Laden (who's most likely long dead) had too many connections to Saudi Arabia and the oil world and it made people very uncomfortable.

Zarqawi is a much more suitable boogey man.

How can these people keep taking credit, yet the source of the proclamations are never brought to justice? If I called up and took credit for a terrorist attack, my butt would be in Gitmo pronto.

9. Which should "prove" right there that there is no "proof".
Its a lie.

Like everything else from the Cheney Administration and their world of scapegoats.

12. Yes, US and British special ops "our new boogieman"
The articles came out right after the Zarqawi name became associated with everything evil in Iraq. Men from US and British special operations were interviewed. They stated, matter of factly, (and this is all paraphrased) that Zarqawi was nothing more than a manufactured boogieman. They stressed that it was important to maintain the illusion of an organized opposition.

I remember reading at least two articles on the subject, international publications. One may have been the Guardian. A search should find something.

16. It's a fair comparison. I'm waiting for the mandatory 10 mintues of Hate.
1984 should be required reading, IMO.
