One thing though. How can Powell distance himself from his presentation at the UN? He either willfully lied and deceived the international community or is complete incompetent (and I doubt the second choice very much). Has he expressed remorse? Apologized?

ps - Feeling a little journalistic myself today, got my LTTE about this administration's abominable mistreatment of vets published including references to depleted uranium effects and the fact that it's still being used, returning vets told to pay for equipment, and the measly funding compared to the massive needs.

Though granted, many journalists don't seem to even know what it means to be a journalist. So it won't do harm to point out what it means.

But it's not the core of the problem.
I mean, being a freelancer in the indy/alternative media isn't the same as working for the editor of an MSM outlet - they don't have the same opportunities even if they'd want to use those opportunities.
