6. In my youth, it was an insult to call somebody "conservative"
and a compliment to call them "liberal." Liberals made this country great in every way that matters: voting rights, labor fairness, Social Security, and on and on....

I'm always proud to call myself a liberal. So many great men have lead this country who were liberals! Also, another great one to see is the video of Jimmy Smitts on the "West Wing" defending the word "liberal." I wanted to cry. To see someone standing up for us! Now days when anyone speaks ill of us liberals I remind them of what all we've done compared to conservatives.

10. Are these old definitions?
I seem to remember reading these in the past but the online Roget's New Millennium Thesaurus doesn't list Conservative as any of those things now except "Reactionary."

Unless I'm missing something "Stingy, Miserly, Regressive, Narrow-Minded, Bigoted, Prejudiced, Biased" is nowhere to be found...

15. The banner (minus the Roget's inference)
I found this online, and apparently the person who created it, did not exactly quote Roget's..

I think they used definitions of antonyms..

anyhoo.. here's one without the attribtion, in case someone wants to use it ...

17. Hate to be a downer, but
Liberalism (especially in the American sense) is anti hyperbole and dogma, pro empiricism, and nuance. Hence the OP post in not particularly liberal.
