I saw this on kos and thought that we should try to help him.

David Airhart, an Iraqi Vet of both Afghanistan and Iraq and a Kent State University student is being threatened with explusion because he posted this poster on the rock climbing wall challenge of the ROTC training area at Kent State. The Banner says: "Kent Ohio 4 Peace". He was dragged down by local police and charged with "disorderly conduct".

Traprock Peace Center has the story and more links to write letters to stop his expulsion, but considering that David has information about WP and other atrocities in Iraq, I wanted to point this story out about this brave person who is standing up for America, for innocent Iraqis, and for peace.

3. I hate the current Dean

Carol Cartwright is a freaking fascist who wants to turn Kent into Ohio State Junior. It's no wonder this kind of ROTC asskissing goes on. If they start arresting people I hope Prof. Rogers of the Russian Dept. goes Stalingrad on them...he's killed more people than anthrax in WW II we're pretty sure.


It all boils down to the university going to the dumb side thanks to Cartwrights great leadership:

If I gave a shit about greek life I would have gone to Miami State.

If I gave a shit about sports I would have gone to OSU.

If I wanted to be surounded by rednecks neocons I would have gone to OU.

If I wanted to kiss military ass I would have went to Westpoint.

for grad school. I'm at ohio state now, for psychology, but i really like kent state's program

I was in International Relations and the Russian programs. (Major and Minor and graduated about 6 years ago) I assume you are talking Psychology?

btw I am not anti-Ohio State...I just couldn't give a lesser damn about the Buckeyes.

10. remember, this is quite possibly the only country in the world where
