Chimpy to visit Japan: Hide your Prime Ministers!!!


In January 1992, president George Bush (Sr.) visited Japan to discuss America's trade balance with Japanese Prime Minister Kiichi Miyazawa. The trip went well, with a minor exception: during a formal dinner, Bush became ill - and vomited on Miyazawa as he cradled the President's head. "Why don't you just roll me under the table," Bush suggested as he lay on the floor, "and let me sleep it off?" Note: How Presidential.

Miyazawa later dismissed the incident as absolutely "normal." Jiro the monkey, however, quickly became one of Japan's top performers. His act? A demonstration of "Bush-usuru" ("doing a Bush"); after swaying from side to side, Jiro would imitate George Bush vomiting.
