Why was Chalabi in D.C. yesterday?

I know he met with several people(Rice and Snow-and maybe Cheney)-but I thought he was sort of a persona non-grata in the White House...any insight?

1. Snow was acrtually in Europe--(article about this yesterday).

2. Someone smartly pointed out that we were played.

I think they were saying that his thing with Iran was a headfake by the Administration which worked perfectly. I forget the details, maybe someone else can elaborate.

About the prewar intel manipulation and that Chalabi would only do that for $ so they needed to pay him (in person).
