In '06, every incumbent Republican can be attacked
merely by putting up the percentage he voted in favor of Bush intiatives. Nearly every incumbent Republican Congresscritter is 100% and I would surmise not a one of them is lower than 90%.

It will destroiy them.

The problem is that so many districts are effectively gerrymandered so the incumbent is pretty safe no matter what. But there still are about 50 seats where the the Democrats have a pretty good chance in 2006.

One target in Washington is Rep (R) Dave Reichart who is actually a pretty good guy (former King County Sheriff), but..."Sorry dude, your party sucks so you suck too".

4. In '94 they had great success.
There is a similar hatred of Congress right now. We can tap into it.

8. The campaign needs to start today.
Also, we can deal with the gerrymandered districts. If there is a blowout, as there was in 94', the district design will not be too relavant. In 1994, the districts favored the Democrats, though the Districts are now more skewed towards the GOP than they were to the Democrats in 1994. Still, the Dems have 21 more seats than the GOP had in 1994.
