Radio host fired for anti-Islam remark on-air in Boston
http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-host16.html

BOSTON -- A conservative radio host who was fired by a Washington station after he called Islam ''a terrorist organization'' is hosting a new radio show in Boston.

Michael Graham was fired in August by WMAL-AM because he refused to apologize for saying ''We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam,'' on-air after the London subway bombings.

''I stand by it,'' Graham, 42, told the Boston Herald on Monday.

The former standup comedian and GOP political consult took over Monday as WTKK-FM's afternoon drive host after a two-week tryout, replacing Jay Severin.

2. Severin has some issues
If he was any further back in the closet, he'd pop out in Narnia.

4. Gotta keep those RW hate propagandists employed now
How absolutely disgusting that this station picked up this asshole. It is amazing how the quality of our broadcast media has deteriorated in the past twenty years. Reagan's propaganda wet dream is now bearing fruit. Repeal of the Fairness Doctrine allowed the corporate controlled media to broadcast hate 24/7.

I think that propaganda media is one of the greatest dangers we have seen in this country. In a scant twenty years, our society has gone from one that was reasonably kind, caring and compassionate to that of ravening hate filled insane asylum, and quite frankly it is due to the hate and disinformation being broadcast 24/7. Two things absolutely need to be accomplished when the left regains power, reinstating the Fairness Doctrine, and repeal of the '96 Telecom Act.

Where did Jay go anyway?

I only listen to 'rko in 2 min segments before I usually am screaming at the radio..

if only Boston's Progressive Talk got better reception ...
