When oil exectutives lied to Congress last week, Cheney stayed quiet.

I haven't heard any reporters on television point out that simple fact so far. They denied being involved in Cheney's energy commission, and Cheney didn't correct the record publicly. Their lie was Cheney's lie.

I know this is beyond obvious, but I keep hearing reporters connect their lies to gas prices and gouging, and that's only a small part of it.
