NEW YORK CNN's Lou Dobbs was perhaps Judith Miller's biggest TV supporter during her 85 days in jail, and the New York Times reporter recognized this Tuesday, granting him an exclusive interview.

Miller called the detention facility in Alexandria, Va., "the most soulless place I had ever been. ... It was demeaning. It was degrading. It was very lonely." snip

Dobbs usually signed off his CNN show the past few weeks by noting how many days Miller had served in jail, standing up for reporters' rights, in his view. In her appearance on Tuesday, she thanked him and CNN for that. Dobbs replied: "Frankly, I will not forgive Fitzgerald for what he did to you. I think it is an onerous, disgusting abuse of government power."

1. Unlike the onerous disgusting abuse of power she was protecting
Douchebags, both of them.

Once again - Judy's jailing ultimately PROTECTS the press from being used like the cheap tools they often are, by the government against its citizens.

And what are Louie's thoughts on outing a CIA operative?

I know, Judy didn't out Valerie Plame, but as long as we're talking about abuse of government power, what say you, Dobbs-y?

3. For some reason I can't fathom,

Judy seems to have the knack of manipulating the "protective"
instincts of older men. It's absolutely appalling that Dobbs would make such a comment.

9. As an older man, I must admit she brings out protective
instincts in me.

After she has a fair trial for her crimes against humanity at The Hague, I'm sure I would be moved to demand she get a silk rope for her hanging.

4. No Dobbs, get it right....
what JUDY did was an onerous, digusting abuse of journalistic privilege and integrity. She misused her position, dummy!

Sheez, this crap has gone on long enough. Miller was NOT protecting a whistle blower Lou, she was protecting a CORRUPT government official. She is supposed to be working for the people of the United States (you know, the ones you say you care so much about?), and not for the Busholini Reich (which she was actually doing).

Dobbs, go suck an egg! :puke:

7. You Are Wrong, Lou
She was protecting criminals, not a whistle blower. Go spin your GOP shit.......

This guy freaks about illegal immigration, yet our National security is trumped by a lying sycophantic neo-con witch's journalistic privileges? Wow...

12. Be careful of the words you say . . .
Be careful of the words you say
Make sure they're soft and sweet
You never know from day to day
Which ones you'll have to eat

A little worcestershire sauce, Mr. Dobbs?

14. "I will not forgive Fitzgerald for what he did to you."
She did it to herself, you bloviating jackass gasbag. According to Libby's attorney, she had Libby's permission in October 2004 to reveal his name. She chose not to--one can only assume she didn't because it was right before the presidential election and it would've hurt Bush's chances.

And hey, at least Miller got material for a book and the unwavering adulation of right-wing media whores out of the deal, so it couldn't have been all that bad for her. :sarcasm:

15. Note to Lou Dobbs:
Fitzgerald doesn't need your forgiveness...:eyes:

Lou has an over-rated opinion of himself.
