Bombs kill five U.S. soldiers in Iraq
November 19, 2005

BAGHDAD, Iraq --Five U.S. soldiers were killed Saturday and five others were wounded in a pair of roadside bombings in northern Iraq, the U.S. military said.

The soldiers were assigned to the 101st Airborne Division and were on patrol near Beiji, 155 miles north of Baghdad, the statement said.

Three of the wounded were transported to a U.S. military hospital, and the two others were treated and returned to duty, the statement added.

At least 2,090 members of the U.S. military have died since the war began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

Bush's efforts to exterminate the Muslims and establish a Christian Democracy in Iraq received another blow today as Bombs kill 5 US soldiers.

2. Another Black Hawk down every week or so,
and Republicans don't give a rat's ass. It's not about the troops; it's about the moran king.

4. Funny how isolated incidents like Blackhawk Down are cool
Mass killing on a daily basis has become just ho-hum. Maybe the psychotic mass-killer in the WH has something to do with it...

3. How can anybody in this country feel anything but hatred for these putrid
fucks? How many of our kids do they get to kill for no reason before we get it?

5. Would Iraq be any worse off with the U.S. military
standing down and standing guard from a distance? Murtha's idea sorta. Are we not a part of getting rid of the Sunnis? Will the Sunnis ever have a position in that country and won't Iraq look more like Iran then? We don't hear much about diplomacy. Kurds and Sunnis out. Looks like a civil war now and we can't stop it.

6. I kinda like Murtha's ideas actually...
and we are surely not helping in their civil war. Can you imagine a civil war with referees? What a joke.

7. Remember when Murtha described Marines being
positioned over the horizon, or something similar, meaning we would not entirely abandon Iraq. When I made a comment yesterday about how long it should take the U.S. to train Iraqis to defend themselves, someone commented they have been in training for years either by Saddam or to fight against Saddam, good response.
