Nobody breaks news as fast as Raw Story.

9. nice list sellitman, except...
sometime Buzzflash is a little too angry for me.

I love Raw!

Bradblog is great because he's making news, not just pointing to other websites. Same with Raw they have their own reporters.

Dailykos is a little watered down but does have amazing readership.

thewashingtonnote does some good Washington inside reports.

4. can't argue with that, Walt
they are pretty damn good that's for sure. I usually try to get most of my latest breaking stuff from DU. Usually the RawStory stuff gets posted here anyway. I at least try to sift through some stuff from Truthout and a few MSM papers just to get an overview. I do so much reading for school I'm not as on the ball as I normally have been for the last several years. Still keep up pretty decently though. DU and some of the clearinghouse websites make that pretty simple enough to stay in tune with everything.

7. Hasn't anyone noticed the surge in popularity for Raw Food ?
Edited on Sun Nov-20-05 08:53 AM by SpiralHawk
There's like a whole trend happening, or at least the corporate media is going somewhat ga-ga over raw food diets.

Maybe they just need something new to pimp?

Or maybe there's a RAW Revolution underway ?

Why just the other day I overheard someone say that as far as they were concerned, George W. Bush and the NeoCon Culture of Corruption "can just frikkin eat it raw."

So the evidence is mounting...

RAW RAW RAW

8. About Raw Story
Friday, I caught them red-handed jumping the gun. They broke a story about the session in congress saying:

"IRAQ PULLOUT VOTE FAILS"

and they even offered this:

"Democrats went to the floor to denounce the vote, being staged before Congress left Washington for a two week break. And they gave Murtha a standing ovation as he entered the chamber Friday during the Iraq debate and took his customary corner seat."

This was all while I was watching the debate on C-Span - 3 HOURS before it was over.

A little 1984, I thought!
